ABOUT
Dr. Hakkı Aydın holds a B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Petroleum and
Natural Gas Engineering from the Middle East Technical University
(METU), Ankara, Turkey. Since 2016, he has been with Zorlu Energy,
initially working as reservoir engineer in the geothermal reservoir
management department and currently serving as its manager. Dr.
Aydın has over 50 technical papers and articles focused on geothermal reservoir engineering. He has extensive practical experience, having participated in four distinct geothermal projects with a combined installed power capacity of 305 MWe. His research interests include geothermal energy, reservoir simulation, tracer test, and well test analysis. Notably, he served as the 2022-2024 President of the SPE Turkey Section
